Oblivion's Hope

When a planet is approved to join the Consortium, an Advocate is selected from that world. Usually, the Advocate would be a former leader of one of the planet’s countries, or even a descendant of a well-respected member of the planet’s society.

Sometimes the Advocate is selected when the person is young, usually in their late teens or early twenties. They know one day, when they are older, they will partake in the Discorporation ceremony, and their minds will become part of the Siron.
